Side table BK 16 by Carl Hansen & Son

The BK16 side table was designed in 1959 by the Danish architect and professor Bodil Kjær. It is part of a collection of beautifully crafted indoor and outdoor furniture made from solid teak. Its cubist-inspired shape mirrors other designs in the series, which are all characterized by a clear, geometric design language. The table is perfectly proportioned and matches the height of the lounge chair in the collection. The BK16 is characterized by the same first-class workmanship and extravagant simplicity as the rest of the indoor-outdoor series.
