The Magneto floor lamp, designed by Henk Fillekes in the 1950s, is a true icon of Dutch design. Its defining feature is the magnetic ball on the elegant tripod base, allowing the arm and shade to be effortlessly rotated into any desired position. This innovative mechanism, after which the lamp is named, makes it possible to direct light precisely where it’s needed, giving users the freedom to adapt the lighting to their specific needs. 
The light source is deeply recessed within the shade, making the Magneto not only a striking statement piece but also an exceptionally comfortable reading lamp. Inspired by the Bauhaus movement, its minimalist design unites functionality and elegance in one refined creation.
