  1. Eiermann Rattan Stool E 14 by Richard Lampert

    Designer: Eiermann
    Year: 1957
    Price:   298,00 €

This stool was designed by Egon Eiermann in 1957 for the Expo in Brussels in 158. Eiermann and Sepp Ruff designed the Expo's German pavillion, where dozens of the stool, the E 10 Lounge Chair and rattan sun umbrellas enabled comfortable sitting for visitors. The pavillion attracted enormous international attention, as it was a sort of connecting link to famous modern German architecture before Nazi totalitarism. It was consequently seen as prove of a new democratic German society. At the occasion of Eiermann's 100th birthday 2004, Richard Lampert reedited this charming and comfortable stool. The E 14 stool is a small and easy to transport seat for any room in the house, on a balcony or terrace, Ø 40 h 42 cm.
