    Designer: Hirche
    Year: 1969

These chairs bear little resemblance to the classical Colonial or Finca-style furniture made of rattan. Both ›Santa Lucia‹ chairs are strictly modern, designed by an architectural hand. Herbert Hirche has been a member of the German Council of Design since 1961. He designed the first Italian restaurant in Stuttgart, the famous Santa Lucia‹ twice. And with it the two Santa Lucia chairs, one in 1956 and the other 1969. Rattan nature, steelframe black (RAL 9005), w 43 d 40 h 73 sh 45 cm.
