These chairs bear little resemblance to the classical Colonial or Finca-style furniture made of rattan. Both ›Santa Lucia‹ chairs are strictly modern, designed by an architectural hand. Ele- gant,small and stackable armchairs, who emit warmth and personality. For use in kitchens and at dining tables as well as in restaurants, bars or cafés. Herbert Hirche has been a member of the German Council of Design since 1961. He designed the first Italian restaurant in Stuttgart, the famous Santa Lucia‹ twice.
